This document explains how to connect to a shared printer on a remote computer. This process is very similar for Windows 98.
1. Open Printers

2. Click Add Printer

3. Click Next.
4. Select Network Printer, click Next.

5. Enter the printer location, if you know the name of the computer sharing the printer and the printer's shared name then enter \\ComputerName\PrinterName. Click Next.

6. Finish.
You will be asked to use this printer as the default printer, this is a matter of preference. A printer driver may need to be installed so have your printers driver disk handy.
Once finished the printer will be available in the same way as a local printer.
