These steps show how to share a printer on a Windows 2000 computer. Once shared other users on the same network will be able to connect to and print using this printer.
1. Open Printers
2. Right click on the printer and select Sharing
3. Enable sharing for this printer
Click on shared as and enter a share name for the printer, sometimes the name that Windows suggests is a little hard to remember, in this case simply type in another name.
Click Ok when done.
